Our story

Welcome!! My name is Michelle Mai. I’m a baker, content creator, and the owner behind Mai Sweet Bakery! Located in Houma, Louisiana was created in the midst of 2020. Although it has only been 5 years since we opened up shop, professionally, I have been baking my whole life.

Instead of watching cartoons like your typical 10-year-old, I was watching Ina Garten, Bobby Flay, Rachel Ray and all the other Food Network chefs after school.

When I was finally able to use the oven, I started to bake for my family and friends from middle school through high school.

I created my business venture to not only continue my excitement for baking but to share it with everyone else too. To see your ideas, inspiration, and creativity come to life is why I love what I do!
